Duration: 60 minutes
Modality: Live Webinar on Thursday, March 28th at 1PM CST. Can’t attend the live webinar? You can still purchase and view the online, on-demand, video 72 hours after the live event.

Technology has been increasingly becoming a bigger part of the world in which live. Broadly, this has both potential benefits and pitfalls for our ability to lead meaningful and vital lives. As behavioral scientists interested in prediction and influence of human behavior, we have new tools for accessing and analyzing data and the greater potential to reach individuals and shape behavior. One area that may be particularly fruitful is the analysis of language. A number of tools have been developed for gathering and analyzing this data that may be of use to those interested in behavioral science. Along with this, we have to be mindful of practical and ethical issues, which may arise in this arena.

After your order processes, you will be able to log into your My ENSO profile to obtain the webinar link and password to register and attend the live webinar. If you cannot attend the live event you may still purchase and watch the on-demand video version 72 hours after the live webinar has aired. The on-demand video will be made available in your My ENSO profile, listed under your courses. Attendees to either the live event or the on-demand event will be able to obtain CE credits (if purchased) by completing the evaluation. Continuing education certificates are available immediately upon completion of the course and evaluation. Your certificate will remain available in your My ENSO profile.

Learning Objectives:

1.) You will be able to name programs which you might use to begin using this type of assessment yourself.
2.) You will be able describe theoretical and practical advantages of using language-based assessment.
